Mission Education
The Church of the Nazarene is a global church. Therefore the names of some things have been changed. This month is Mission Education month. But how do you educate someone about what is happening globally if they don't have materials in their own language?
Very slowly and sometimes not at all. There is help. World mission Literature, now called Global Nazarene Publications. The Church of the Nazarene worships in over 212 languages every Sunday in 156 world areas. Much of the work produced is translated from existing materials, but more and more original work is being produced by indigenous writers.
Missionary Health Care
The cost of keeping missionaries healthy so they can do their jobs is quite high, the cost continues to rise. To help defray those costs, the Nazarene Missions International developed the NMI Missionary Health Care. This is funded through several different programs:
Distinguished Service Awards-
Memorial Roll-
Gifts from the Heart-
Note from the President
The book sale was a big success bringing in $102.00. Praise the LORD. The money will help equip Pastor's around the world so they can more effectively make disciples in the nations. In May we will be adding several names to the Memorial Roll. Our monthly meeting will be on May 16th. 6:00 pm. Learn more about Global Nazarene Publications. We'll be playing Tic Tac Toe and having a treasure hunt. You won't want to miss. As always I look forward to hearing from you, so if you have any questions please email me at mitninit@yahoo.com. Until next time may God bless and keep you.
